What is a State without it's Cities? South Dakota is made up of some very impressive cities, some with stunning scenery, and others with gorgeous views of the prairie, but all with their very own charm. In the North Western part of the state is the angelic city of Spearfish, which is surrounded by the forests and high mountains of the Black Hills. Not too far South, is the small community of Sturgis, which also has some magnificent views of the rocky cliffs of the Hills. From the small metropolis of Rapid City, you can see the highest parts of the Black Hills to the Southwest and the majestic Badlands to the East. The town of Wall Drug has views of both the Prairie and the Edge of the Badlands. Continuing east, Pierre, the state capital, has amazing views of the Missouri river surrounded by the Prairie. The town of Chamberlain crosses the Missouri River and has beauty on both sides! The metropolitan area of Sioux Falls is at the Easternmost point of the state and has some of the most ravishing waterfalls! No matter which direction you look in these wonderful places, the view is far and the air is clear, clean, and pure! These are just a few of the remarkable communities in South Dakota, as many more can be discovered in the following posts!
